Another perspective of the memorium

Hey gawjess peeps

It's been a bit of a day today. After all the upheaval of 2 rooms having flooring fitted and the accompanying furniture shuffle that was necessary I've had tp put creativeness on hold. Not to mention deciding when 1 room was emptied the decision to gloss and emulsion while the empty room was presented.

So today I made a decision to finish my memorium to my lost loved ones. I've been putting it off until I felt emotionally resilient enough to face the tumultuous onslaught of feelings I knew it would bring.

It was emotional to scatter the ashes and finish the creation. However getting ashes into the tiny bottles was difficult and " I was touched by my lost loved ones and I remain touched by them" ... Until I shower them off😬😬

I will never make such an elaborate creation again but plan to make smaller heart shaped ones to sell as I think it's a lovely way to remember your lost loved ones and coupling the memorium with a design that catches light and love is a beautiful thing

Hey All
So it's been a while since my last post but I've been concentrating on doing DIY and going to hospital appointments and pretty sure you don't wanna see pics of those things.
Anyhoo I may have been a little tipsy when I bought this item. However it is very popular with Walts and King Charles. So much so it created a turf war and they have been throwing paws over it 😂
I've ordered another to keep the peace lool

Very worrying this is the 3rd fire in a week and this 1 is pretty darn close. I think the other 2 are still burning too 😭 We need rain so bad.

Update : I think it might finally be nearly out and under control now. Because of its location they were having to have helicopters dropping bowsers in it. The devastation is horrendous and has decimated the wildlife. So sad the birds were nesting and it was awful.

Ooo I've been busy trying to remember how to put a tent up (haven't done it since 2004 or so) There was a lot unladylike language during the er****on and had to borrow tent pegs from my gazebo but.... Ta da.
Why you ask... Well my sis and B.I.L are visiting to undertake laminate flooring in both bedrooms. In order to speed things up I've vacated the 1 room to empty it fully. Will need to bathe in insect repellent for the duration as those pesky mozzies love me.... I'm like catnip to them 🤣

Apologies for the slightly maudlin post.
This moon is a labour of love. On this I will hang some of the ashes of my beloved Mum, Jones, Tippy and Tilly. I have been morbidly hanging on to these but I feel ready now to release them and this ornament is a memorial. I think Mum would have loved being in the company of the sweetest cats I have known.
The rest I will scatter in the garden as I find it a comfort to have them near and all together.
