*Monologue Showcase 2025*

To all those that responded to my post before regarding the Monologue Showcase 2025. We are still going ahead.

Admin is slow regarding Venue Bookings, so I need people that had got back to us before regarding availability for April/May time. I need your availability again for May/June time.

Also we maybe able to open a few other spots.

SEEKING ACTORS IN NORTHERN IRELAND

We are getting geared up for the MONOLOGUE SHOWCASE 2025. We have a right bit of interest before Christmas. Now coming into the New Year, we are looking to get more people involved.

The Monologue Showcase, will consist of Acting and Writing workshops beforehand to get new Actors or Actors yet to be realised to get familiar with the basics. Or if you are a writer that's interested in Acting, then this is for you also.

Acting Workshops will focus on Movement (Use of Space), Characterisation, Improvisation and Memorisation. We will also touch on the Sanford Meisner Technique. There will be a number of fun Acting Exercises as well as warm up exercises beforehand.

The Writing Workshops will require you to think about your character, to create a bit of a backstory for your character, where is he/she from, occupation, how does your character feel about the World of Today? Which is a part of Characterisation called Character Building. And then of course what are the topics at hand does our character want to express?

We will also focus on Creative Writing in general as well, to get us warmed up before hand, we will have a number of fun writing exercises to get us going beforehand. We also touch upon Script Writing.

The Workshops will either take place in Omagh or Enniskillen.

We are looking for Actors who are interested in writing their own material for the stage, as well as Writers who are interested to perform their own pieces for the stage.

**MONOLOGUE SHOWCASE 2025**

Looking for new talent, you don't have to have done Acting before, but if you are serious about becoming an Actor, we can help to provide you gateways into getting a foot in the door. But, we are also looking for a hybrid of people to come together for a Monologue Showcase in the New Year in Tyrone and Fermanagh, Northern Ireland.

Whether that be new talent and/or working professional Actors, we are particularly interested in Actors who are interested in writing their own material for the stage. We are looking to provide something new for local theatre, something fresh and we are going to start with a Monologue Showcase.

If you are looking for a challenge for the new year, this can be something for you!!
