Bury Court Opera

Bury Court Opera Bury Court Opera is a small charity dedicated to the support of young performers, directors and designers at the early stage of careers.

Bury Court Opera began staging opera in 2007 in the intimate environment of The Barn at Bury Court and now presents an annual season in early Spring and occasional productions at other times of the year. Bury Court Opera was granted charitable status in 2013 and is dedicated to the support of young performers, directors and designers at the early stage of their careers. The Barn, with it's beamed

interior, is blessed with outstanding acoustics and our aim is to demonstrate that opera produced on this smaller scale has the potential to have a greater impact, providing more immediacy and emotional intensity than a more extravagant production in a larger house.
