An Autumn Musical Delight!

Our next concert is fast approaching - come along to the St John's Centre in Merrow, near Guildford, on Saturday 18th October at 7.30pm. The concert will feature new arrangements in a kaleidoscope of songs from the shows such as “Moon River” and “Singing in the Rain” and many more. The evening will also feature a classical Clarinet and Piano duo presented by local artists.

On Saturday 19th July 2025, at the Bournemouth Performing Arts Festival, Sound Mix won the class for ‘Choral Singing of Light Opera or Music from the Shows'. We also came second in two other classes (Sacred & Choral Part Singing Acappella).

In the beautiful venue of Christchurch Priory in Dorset, Sound Mix delivered three wonderful sets of music and song, culminating in our success. Competing against choirs from South Wales, Berkshire, Hampshire and Dorset, it was a thrill to perform and also to listen to some quality singing from the other competitors. It was a long day but very satisfying at the close.

Thanks Choir BLAST we're really looking forward to performing two sets on Saturday 14th June, at 11.00am at The Court and 1.00pm at the Rose and Crown in Godalming, as part of this exciting festival of contemporary choirs.

Formed just before the world paused in 2020, Sound Mix bounced back post-lockdown with heart, harmony and a whole lot of energy. Since 2021, they've been steadily building a vibrant repertoire – from golden classics like Moon River and Singing in the Rain, to soul-stirring spirituals, inventive takes on pop (wait ‘til you hear Viva la Vida like never before!), and even a seriously joyful rendition of Teddy Bear’s Picnic.

With rich arrangements, joyful delivery, and a clear love of singing together, Sound Mix are here to entertain, uplift and invite you to join them on their musical journey.

Do come along to our next concert - "Afternoon Acappella" - an entertaining afternoon of popular songs. The concert will take place at the United Reformed Church on Kings road in Fleet. Tickets, which include tea and cake, cost just £5 and will be available on the door or from the link on our Facebook event or website. All profits will be donated to church charities.
