💜 Lavender 💜

I was a little bit late cutting this lavender in the studio garden as I wanted to make a hydrosol- a distilled essence that can then be used in creams and lotions or as a face spritz.
A lot of the buds had already gone over but it’s still smelling fantastic, so I made a lavender wand!

A labour of love but also wonderfully meditative, the lavender buds are self contained and will hold their scent, to be placed in drawers or by the bedside for a relaxing sleep.

I wonder if this could be a future workshop, would join me? 💜

Before I sign off for a break over Christmas I thought I’d show off these deliciously coffee scented candle tins made for and topped with their own coffee beans.
You can treat yourself to a candle and a tasty coffee at their home in the Bourne Pavillion, Farnham.
