Our website has had (and still thankfully does) the privilege of talking through the last two decades with some of the most influential players of the music business of the last half a century. Today, we had the enormous pleasure to welcome one of the most celebrated record producers and engineers of the last 4 decades, Tim Palmer, who, in an exclusive interview to our website, takes us and our readers to the time Palmer worked on both Tin Machine's studio albums. With an added bonus, in the second part of the interview, in revealing his invaluable work with Tears for Fears too, particularly, on the early '00 album that sealed the reunion of TFF's original line-up. You can find the link to the full interview to Tim Palmer now published on our website at the link here below:

Often colours are a representation of our state of mind, who we are at some point of our lives and how we see and feel the world through them. In the case of the Danish Violinist and Composer Bjarke Falgren, his world and his music have the color turquoise, right now, a colour that symbolises freedom, intended in the most universal way of the word. It's for this very reason that Falgren has decided to call his brand new album Turkis (Turquoise), as a way to define his total free-form way approach in composing, playing and "feeling" music at 360 degrees. You can find the link to the full review of this rather splendid and inspired record at the link here below:

Respecting the core traditions of Chicago Blues, whilst putting his own distinctive artistic stamp on his new songs is only part of the story behind the new album of the American singer-songwriter and Harmonica Maestro Chris O’Leary, called Blue Collar. Naturally gifted also by a superb, powerful vocal range and supported on his new record by an impressive array of studio musicians, Blue Collar represents most certainly the artistic pinnacle to date of an artist like O'Leary that keeps on releasing songs of the finest quality, as beautifully exemplified by a record like Blue Collar. One of the pillars of Jazz of all time, John Coltrane, this coming September would have been 100 years of age. Many celebrations are set to happen to honour this incredible artist, this year and among many, Bluebird Reviews had the privilege to review a highly inspired and re-imagined version of A Love Supreme, one of Coltrane’s immortal records, via one of the most talented Harmonicists worldwide, Mathias Heise and the renowned Jazz collective Danish Radio Big Band.
