Faringdon Bangers and Beer Festival

The 3rd Annual Faringdon “Bangers & Beer” Festival, in aid of The Pump House Project and The Place, will be at The Corn Exchange, Faringdon on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th September. The two-day event will feature 14 local beers, complemented by local ciders from The Cotswold Cider Company and another opportunity to “Pimp Your Prosecco” (first seen at the recent Folly Fest). As well as the excell

ent drinks on offer, you will also be able to sample a range of locally produced sausages and burgers, provided by highly acclaimed Pat Thomas Butchers based here in Faringdon. Throughout the festival, local bands will be performing; the current line –up includes External Sunshines, Genevieve Miles, Splat the Rat, the Cotswold Voices choir and Al Cane. Local businesses have already stepped up to the support the event and we are extremely grateful to Acorn Timbers, Pavy Ltd, Juice, Wicklesham Commercial Properties and NOA for each sponsoring a barrel of beer. Entrance to the festival is free, with a pint of beer costing £3; there will also be an opportunity to purchase a Festival glass as a memento. All the proceeds will be used to support local activities to benefit the community, so please come along and enjoy the event.
