Mobile and Wedding DJ in Faringdon, Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds Hello. I’m Martin and I am MGL disco. Not all DJs and mobile discos are the same.

I provide tailored DJ and mobile disco packages for all types of event from discreet private parties to black tie functions and big room roller discos. I’m based in Faringdon in Oxfordshire and cover the surrounding local area. I want to make sure you get the music and atmosphere you’re looking for. Whether it’s full-on fast-moving disco effects or discreet subtle mood lighting, I can build a package to suit the needs of your event and venue. I’ll ensure we discuss the details of what you’re looking for and the music you love. If you have specific favourite songs – however unusual – I’ll make sure I have them and play them at the right moment. Experience is essential but so is having the right tools. I only use reliable equipment manufactured by well-known industry brand names. I also have backup on hand so no one piece of equipment can fail and leave the dance floor dark or silent for the rest of your event. Take a look below for more information. For everyone’s peace of mind, all equipment is PAT safety tested regularly and my whole service is backed up by £10m Public Liability Insurance.

Amazing 18th birthday party for Grace at the beautiful Sudbury House Hotel in Faringdon. Such a fabulous (and incredibly smart!) group of young people who danced all night right up to the last song of the night. Thanks for booking me to be the DJ and soundtrack for your birthday!

Congratulations to Abby and Karl on their wedding day yesterday! You have a beautiful family and it was an honour to play great music for everyone. You both looked fabulous from start to finish as you can see in your last dance of the night in the photo here.

It was my first wedding at Riverview Barn at Radcot near Faringdon and what a fabulous hidden gem this is. Loved it.

Congratulations to Daisy and Will on their wedding day today! They had the most beautiful marquee in their own private gardens and clearly had an incredible day with family and friends. It was an honour to be their DJ for the evening and play in such an amazing space, created especially for dancing. What a night!

When you have a beautiful ballroom, such as the one at The Old Crown Coaching Inn, you need an elegant DJ setup to complement the room. When it's time to dance, we create some space and last Saturday was then all about the 70s soul, disco and pop.

Happy 30th birthday Samantha! It was an honour and pleasure to DJ alongside the incredibly talented James Burwell Music at the fabulous The Gin To My Tonic Event Bar Faringdon for your birthday party. Congratulations on a superb evening!

Thank you to Faringdon & District Cricket Club for asking me to be the DJ for their Awards Dinner and party in the beautiful ballroom at The Old Crown Coaching Inn. Generations of players were recognised for their talent and sportsmanship over the past year as well as those who dedicate their time to coaching the teams and and running the club. It was a truly excellent evening; I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did. Thank you.

Another amazing night celebrating Jo and Cath's birthday. I won't give away their age but the clue's in the photos! It was an honour and a pleasure to be your DJ for this evening. I had a fabulous time spinning the tunes and I hope you enjoyed every moment - thank you!

I don't do school discos, except when my arm is twisted by someone I know well *and* they promise I will have some help. Well Emily and Bella were fabulous dance leaders and tonight would not have been anywhere near as much fun without them. I'm hopeless at leading the Macarena but they nailed it - thank you! I did manage some excellent dad-dancing during the games we played, in case you were wondering... 🤣

Congratulations to Rachel and Jona who got married at the beautiful Sheepdrove Organic Farm & Green Events Venue last night. It was an honour to be asked to be your DJ for the evening and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did! It's not often I get to play both Aqua and Slipknot in the same night! Wishing you all the very best in your new life together. Love and best wishes, Martin.

One of the great things about attending industry events and conferences is that you get to meet and share knowledge and experiences with new colleagues that can help you and your business. They may not always be local, but those friendships are incredibly valuable.
