May Day morning celebration in Falmouth Saturday 3rd May.
If you want to join us for a sunrise celebration we are meeting in Kimberly Park at 6am for singing and maypole dancing (if there are enough people)
Then on to The Moor for 8am for more of the same.
Wear green and white, bring your singing voice and your dancing shoes. All welcome, free event.

Hi folks, we are planning a May Day event in Falmouth on Saturday, the 3rd of May. We are hoping to have music, singing and maypole dancing. This will be for all ages and everyone is welcome to come along and join in. Here is my prototype maypole which some friends are going to help me try out later today.

Hello to all our lovely followers.

We are planning a May Day event in our town.

Probably on May 3rd this year, starting at dawn in Kimberly park

Dancing around a maypole , electing a king and queen of the May.

Then progressing through the town setting up the maypole at various locations and having tunes, dancing and singing.

We’ll be stopping for brekkie somewhere and I’m sure they’ll be a few stops for cuppas.

Still in the planning stages, so any ideas you have are welcome.
