It has been a glorious summer and the choir have enjoyed several outings. As family and friends go home and autumn hovers we start to think about new pieces to learn and old Christmas favourites that have been packed away since January that we can sing again. Have you wondered about joining a choir? Are you looking for a new choir? Please IM us and we can set up a meeting. We love to welcome new members.

We had such a wonderful Concert in the Tolmen Centre, Constantine, on Wednesday. Thank you to everyone who turned out to join us.

GRAND CHRISTMAS CONCERT

The Trengilly Singers will be singing at the Tolmen Centre Constantine on
Wednesday 8th December at 7.00. Refreshments will be available .
Do join us for a lovely evening of Christmas music, including some wonderful
Cornish Merritt Carols.
Tickets just £5.00 on the door, there will also be refreshments available.
The programme will consist of a selection of Carols from many countries,
eras and styles, 'Classical to Lighter'
It will include pieces by JS Bach, Peter Warlock, Oliver Tarney, Will Tod and as said the wonderful Christmas Carols by Cornish composer Thomas Merritt.
There will be an opportunity for the audience to join in the singing
of Traditional Carols.

Monday night is our Open evening at The Tolmen Centre in Constantine. We are inviting any singers out there to join us at our rehearsal. Arrive at 6:50 pm, meet us, warm up with us, listen to us and perhaps join in. We are looking forward to seeing you

COVID restrictions are still affecting choir rehearsals. This week we sang outside, joined by a very vocal blackbird. It might be a bit chilly but it is still lovely to be singing again.

Last night we had a face to face rehearsal. For many of us the first since February 2020. Lovely to sing the well known songs as well as some new. Socially distanced and singing in a through draught. Amazing.

It has been a long time coming but perhaps there is a glimmer of light at the end of this tunnel. We have continued to learn new songs on Zoom and cannot wait to gather together and make beautiful music again.
