We are looking forward to welcoming you all back on Monday or Tuesday.

Over the Summer the church has refurbished the room that we used for storing pushchairs and this is no longer available for Pebbles use as will be rented out on some weeks.

Due to space capacity we are unable to allow pushchairs into the main hall unless absolutely essential for very young babies.

We have areas under cover at the front of the church and a space to the right of the door that they can be left in but they will require a rain cover and are unsupervised so left at owners risk. Thank you for your understanding.

Lounges in Cornwall are serving up free bowls of Corn Flakes, Bran Flakes or Rice Krispies for kids 🥣

Little Loungers Breakfast Clubs have been launched in cahoots with Kellogg’s.

The chain says it aims to help families by ensuring children start the day with something tasty, simple - and on the house.

Until term restarts in September, families popping into their local Lounge can make the most of a free Kellogg’s breakfast for children, complete with their choice of dairy or non‑dairy milk - 'no vouchers, no faff'.

More fun this week at Pebbles! Our apologies for the busy reception area on Tuesday, thank you for helping us by using a different door - the church is having some necessary works done and we are grateful that our hall space was still available for our Pebbles sessions!

We will host Pebbles again for our final two sessions on Monday and Tuesday of next week, before the Summer closure.

This week the children enjoyed making foam ice creams in our tuff tray with Pom-poms and lavender sprinkles to add! What a delicious fragrance to enjoy whilst playing!

Sea shells were decorated at the craft table, Rachel and Nikki love to see what we can make using a few snips of a small paper plate! We hope your little ones might help you find some beach treasures to look at around our beautiful local beaches and rock pools… go on parents and carers, get your shoes off together and have a dip to cool down with your little ones…. They love it when we get down to their level and enjoy discovering their world with them….

We will continue to try and offer some cooling activities for our final sessions next week, and look forward to seeing you all again before the break!

For those of you who can’t make it next week, Rachel and Nikki would love to wish you and your families a wonderful Summer and we look forward to seeing you again come September…

Our first session back will be Monday 7th September - we will put a reminder out on fb nearer the time!

Another lovely week with our Pebbles families, welcome to those of you who are new to us! Come again, we always love to see new families here at Pebbles…

This week we set our tuff tray up with water to pour, herbal tea bags to mix and petals to stir in, a nice cooling activity and the children love to pour in and out of various trays and containers together!

We had ice cream fun with potato printing at our craft table… children love to think about their favourite flavours when they create art which relates to their experiences! Lots of fun sprinkling glitter ‘sprinkles’ on top too!

As we head into our final two weeks of Pebbles, we will be saying goodbye to some of our older little ones as they transition to primary schools in September, so grown up and so full of potential! It is a privilege to be part of your little ones’ journeys and although we will have some sad goodbyes, there are more precious memories to make as they continue on their way! And we will always stop and say hello if we see you out and about in and around Falmouth.

Thank you all for bringing so much fun to our weekly Pebbles sessions! We love to see the children playing and learning through play, together here.

We had quite a ‘fishy’ time this week at Pebbles…with our storybook about all sorts of different coloured and shaped fish - we even found an ‘ele-fish’ with a trunk! a pineapple fish and a strawberry fish too…

So we painted and sponged some coloured fish at our craft table and in the tuff tray we had some fishy discoveries in ice blocks to release…. What creatures do you see in rock pools around Falmouth, we wonder….

It was a cooler week in Pebbles, although just might be worth our mentioning we are lucky that our hall usually feels nice and cool on the warmer days, so always bear us in mind for a visit if the sun outside is feeling too hot!
