The Princess Pavilion is a concert hall offering a wide programme of live entertainment throughout the year including star names in live music, stand-up comedy and live theatre showings. The venue is uniquely and positioned within Gyllyngdune Gardens: four acres of beautiful, tropical gardens leading down to Falmouth seafront and Gyllyngvase Beach. n garden, a play area for little ones and an Edwardian bandstand - which has seasonal band concerts throughout the summer - it’s the perfect spot to relax and explore. Open daily and admission is free to the gardens. The cafe is currently open Monday - Saturday, serving lunches, coffee and cakes from 10am - 4pm. Card payments also now taken.

Known for his work on Alan Partridge, The Ballad of Wallis Island and Tim Key's Late Night Poetry Programme, Tim brings his unique blend of poetry, comedy and wonderfully unpredictable performance to Falmouth. ⚓ Sea Shanty Festival at Princess Pavilion ⚓

Join us across the weekend for live sea shanty performances, local traders, family activities, great food and plenty of festival atmosphere by the sea.

We’re excited to be welcoming an incredible line-up of performers to the Princess Pavilion stage, including The Back Beach Boyz, The Portsmouth Shantymen, Brise-Glace, Bryher's Boys, Pirates of St Piran and many more across the weekend.

Alongside the music, take some time to explore a fantastic selection of local makers, artists and independent traders. From handmade jewellery by Tide Cut, LLUMINEAR and Moobells Jewellery, to beautiful ceramics, fused glass, coastal art, clothing, and more, there’ll be plenty to browse and discover.

There’ll also be family-friendly activities throughout the weekend, including puppet shows, games and our on-site play area for little sailors to enjoy.
