A new collection by Clementine Neild has arrived online and in the gallery.

This series of monotypes explores the intricate details of Trebah Gardens near Mawnan Smith, Cornwall, where Clementine regularly walks with her lurcher. Created as a sequence, each print is entirely unique while evolving from the one before. The collection comprises 10 fern monotypes and 6 bamboo monotypes.
With no permanent plate involved in the process, these works are original prints in the truest sense. Painted by hand onto acetate and passed through a press, each piece is shaped through a collaboration between artist and machine, producing marks and textures that could not be achieved by hand alone.
Beautifully presented in glass-fronted frames, these intimate works are ready to hang and enjoy.

Neil McLeod is a local artist working primarily in oils, creating intuitive paintings that sit somewhere between feeling and memory. His imagery emerges through layers of iteration, resulting in scenes that are half-remembered, half-imagined.
Offering glimpses of unfolding narratives, Neil’s work draws inspiration from childhood memories, film and television, to walks through the countryside. At its core is a fascination with psychology in its original sense: “to attend to the soul.”

Neil’s off-beat contemporary paintings continue to captivate collectors and admirers alike, with their mysterious atmospheres and storytelling.

A fun one for this edition of No Rules, Just Art. This time, we're looking at art for kids' rooms — arguably one of the most exciting spaces to curate. It's a chance to embrace colour, playfulness and imagination, with bold pieces that bring personality, joy and a sense of fun.

Children's spaces deserve just as much attention as any other room in the home.. perhaps even more. The art we surround young minds with can inspire creativity, spark curiosity and encourage self-expression. It can help shape moods, nurture interests and create a space that feels uniquely theirs. Most importantly, it can bring joy.

When choosing art for a child's room, it's all about finding pieces that reflect their personality while adding something special to their space to create the right mood, whether that’s calming, uplifting, inspiring or simply just fun!

Swipe to the end to see a collection of artworks we think would look amazing in a kids' space.
