Performance BSL Interpreters make yourselves known!
We’re looking for 2 Performance BSL Interpreters (one London and one Exeter based) to join us for our work in progress performances of our new show Keep The Lights On in March this year.

For our R+D we want to integrate a BSL interpreter into the performance, so are looking for BSL interpreters who are comfortable with a more performative style.

Exeter BSL Interpreter dates:
Half day rehearsal on 9th March
Evening performance on 10th March- performance lasts 1 hour. (Also paid at half day rate to include time for prep/ run through beforehand)

London BSL Interpreter dates:
Half day rehearsal on 16th March
Evening performance on 17th March- performance lasts 1 hour. (Also paid at half day rate to include time for prep/ run through beforehand)

We’re still waiting on confirmation of funding so rather than an application this is just a callout for us to make contact with people we may not have worked with before as it’s gonna be a pretty quick turnaround from when we do hear back about funding but we also want to have given enough time to reach as many people with the callout as possible.

So if you’re interested and are available then all you need to do is just drop us an email to [email protected] with the subject line 'Keep The Lights On Performance BSL Interpreter Callout’ and let us know whether you are based in London or Exeter. Then when we get the all clear from our funding we will drop you an email with a link to a job description so you don’t miss the application.

ATOT living our best lives at

We saw some amazing, hard-hitting and hilarious work at this year’s fringe.

We left Edinburgh feeling so excited to get back in the studio and to be creative once again 📝

A graduate or two!

is where we met, where we became friends and where we created the beginnings of Elbow Room. It was so lovely to come back to where it all began. In the two years since we graduated, we started ATOT, toured our ACE funding project and even had a sold out event on our old campus.

Forever grateful and proud of us, here’s to the next chapter of creativity 🎓

24/05/2022

This time last year we found out about we were successful in getting our first bid.

We wanted to take a moment to thank everyone involved in the pilot project of Elbow Room and our wonderful funders who made it possible.

It makes us so excited to re-develop the project, we’re onto bigger and better things. Expect songs, dances, highs, lows and, of course, a hell of a lot of boxes 📦
