Watch Andy Scott's sculpture rise,100ft from the ground from start to finish, and discover the vision behind and creation of the Worlds largest pair of steel horses heads. Watch the full construction process as the Kelpies rise 100 foot from the ground to tower over the new Helix Parkland, and act as a gateway to the east of Scotland, for sailors travelling through the new section of the Forth & C

lyde canal, into Scotland's inland waterways. We will be posting unique photographs and short films capturing the process in full, as well as giving you full insight into the artists inspiration in his own words. Congratulations are in order for Sculptor Andy Scott, who has been awarded an OBE in the King's Honours List! 🎉

Andy has been recognised for his services to sculpture and fine art as the mind behind work such as The Kelpies and countless other jaw-dropping artworks throughout the world.

From everyone here in The Helix, thank you to Andy Scott for giving Scotland one of its most iconic landmarks, inspiring millions of visitors from around the world every year.

Parking will be available on a first come first served basis for all Kelpies Live concerts, opening one hour before concert gates at The Falkirk Stadium and Forth Valley College. £10 per vehicle charge will apply, payable by card only.

Please follow stewards’ instructions on arrival and follow signage to Helix Park for Kelpies Live concerts. Falkirk stadium is a short walk of approx. 0.5km (0.3miles) from the car park to the ticket gate. Forth Valley College is approx. 0.8m (1.3km) If you require additional support, CWAS Helix Hub can provide you with assistance – please contact them directly for more information.

There will be strictly no concert parking available at The Helix unless you have applied for a Blue Badge accessible space.
