Wow! Another night, another absolutely fantastic local high school production. 🎭

Tonight it was Grangemouth High School's production of Les Misérables, and with the standard on display there was absolutely nothing amateur about it!

The talent, commitment, energy, emotion and maturity from the cast was incredible and they completely blew us away from start to finish. 👏

A special shout-out to the current and former PT students and everyone involved in the production. It was a privilege to see you all shining on stage and showcasing your hard work and talent.

Our area is bursting with talented young people. A reminder of why the arts deserve continued investment and support. The opportunities that theatre, music and performance provide for young people are invaluable and the future looks very bright with local performers from our area leading the way.

Congratulations to everyone involved on an outstanding production. Get tickets for final show tomorrow if you can! 🇫🇷🙌

A huge well done to everyone involved in Graeme High School's production of Legally Blonde tonight! 👏

It was fantastic to see so many PT students on stage absolutely smashing it. The confidence, energy, talent and hard work on display from the entire cast was fabulous! Congratulations to the cast, crew, creative team and staff for putting together a brilliant production. 💙

Break a leg to everyone involved in this week's school shows across the area 🎭✨

A special shout out to the cast, crew, musicians, staff and volunteers at Graeme High School as they take to the stage with Legally Blonde, Grangemouth High School with their production of Les Misérables and Falkirk High School with Now That's What I Call Musicals!

We're especialy looking forward to coming and cheering on some of our own PT students who are involved in these productions. 👏🎶

𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 - 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝗲

As part of , we're shining a spotlight on some of the amazing volunteers who help make Project Theatre possible.

Meet Michelle, one of our fantastic parent volunteers who has become a valued part of the Project Theatre family.

Michelle first became involved through her children, Eyvie and Lucas, and over time has gone from supporting from the audience to helping behind the scenes. More recently, Michelle has been volunteering with our Costume & Wardrobe team, helping in dressing rooms during productions, and has also become involved with our Screen School film project, supporting young people and productions in a variety of ways.

Like many of our volunteers, Michelle simply wanted to help where she could, but her support, enthusiasm and willingness to get involved have made her a vital part of the team.

Speaking about Project Theatre, Michelle says:

*"Both kids love coming to the classes and they have definitely come out their shells more with the help of staff. Eyvie can't wait to join in drama within the high school and I can't wait to see what path it takes Lucas down, and see if he follows in the same footsteps as his sister!"*

It's wonderful to see the impact that theatre can have on young people and their families, and volunteers like Michelle help make those opportunities possible for others too.

𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 - 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝘄𝘀𝗼𝗻

As part of , we're shining a spotlight on some of the amazing volunteers who help make Project Theatre possible.

Meet Jamie, one of our newest trustees, whose journey with Project Theatre started in a way many parents will recognise.

Jamie never planned on volunteering with Project Theatre. Like many parents, he simply started by helping out where he could. Before long, he found himself selling raffle tickets, running the tuck shop, helping at fundraising events and lending a hand behind the scenes at productions, including helping dismantle stages after performances.

Seeing first-hand the positive impact Project Theatre has had on his daughters, and on so many other young people, inspired Jamie to become more involved. He wanted to give something back to an organisation that creates opportunities, builds confidence and makes a real difference within the local community.

Jamie and his daughter Caitlin, a former Senior Youth Theatre student, have also gone above and beyond in supporting Project Theatre through fundraising. Together they have raised hundreds of pounds by taking part in the Kiltwalk recently, and this July they'll be taking on Ben Nevis along with other parents to raise even more funds to help support opportunities for young people.

As one of our newest trustees, Jamie now helps support the organisation's future development while continuing to champion the opportunities Project Theatre provides for young people and families.

As part of , we're shining a spotlight on some of the amazing volunteers who help make Project Theatre possible.

Meet Donna, Sylvie and Val, a family whose involvement with Project Theatre spans both on stage and behind the scenes.

Donna joined our volunteer team in 2022 and has since taken on the huge task of costume design and management. From sourcing costumes to organising, creating and coordinating looks for our performers, Donna plays a vital role in helping our productions come to life. She describes it as a privilege to support the young people of Project Theatre and is immensely proud of her contribution to community theatre.

Sylvie was a Project Theatre student for five years before ageing out in 2025. Rather than saying goodbye, she chose to stay involved and now volunteers as Assistant Musical Director with our Junior Youth Theatre, helping support and inspire the next generation of performers.

Val continues to be an active Project Theatre Senior student while also volunteering behind the scenes. For the past two years she has been part of our Set & Props team, learning from Production Designer Michelle and helping create everything from props and scenery to creative visual elements for our productions.

Together, the Wyzgowski family demonstrate the community spirit that makes Project Theatre so special. Whether through costumes, music, set building, performing or volunteering their time, each of them plays an important part in helping us create opportunities for young people.

Thank you, Donna, Sylvie and Val, for your time, creativity, commitment and support. We are incredibly grateful to have you as part of the Project Theatre family.
