🏁 Our 20th Anniversary Weekend 🏁

A message of thanks from the Scottish League Chair and the Central Scotland Autograss Vice Chair.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us as we celebrated the 20th Anniversary of Central Scotland Autograss. ❤️🏁

To every driver, every helper, and every supporter who joined us — thank you for bringing your spirit and making our 20th Anniversary shine.

Saturday saw some fantastic racing, with close battles, plenty of excitement, and that unmistakable Autograss spirit that has kept our club thriving for two decades.

Then in the evening, we all came together to enjoy each other’s company — taking part in a fun quiz, sharing memories, and laughing throughout the night. While the adults were doing all of this, the kids were having the time of their lives: sumo wrestling, playing gladiators, football fun, and bouncing each other around on the bouncy castle. It was brilliant to see everyone enjoying themselves in true motorsport‑family style.

Sunday brought even more great racing, especially in the finals and the Jock Rankin Champ of Champ Junior and Adult races, where the atmosphere was electric and the competition fierce. It was a brilliant way to round off an unforgettable anniversary weekend.

A special thank you to Whiterose Autograss Club Philip Liddle — we truly appreciated your members travelling up, spending the weekend with us, racing alongside our drivers, and joining in our Saturday night anniversary celebrations. Your support and enthusiasm added so much to the atmosphere. ❤️🏁

The spirit of our club shines on weekends like this — where racing, friendship and families all come together.

IMPORTANT SAFETY UPDATE AND NEW RULE FROM NASA

Following discussions held by the Board at meetings on 29 April and 4 August, the following ruling has been agreed regarding a driver’s helmet coming off during a race:

With immediate effect, any driver whose helmet comes off during a race will be subject to a 30-day cooling-off period from racing.

During this 30-day period, the driver will not be permitted to race, but may continue to assist or officiate at events.

This ruling has been introduced in the interest of driver safety and will remain in effect going forward.

The appropriate wording will be incorporated into the 2027 Members’ Handbook.
