Autumn Art Retreat Day!

I'm running a foil embossed mini-bunting workshop on Friday 16th October as part of an Autumn Art Retreat Day. Once you have the tools, have practised the designs and effects you can create, it is so absorbing ☺️! And looks so lovely hanging up.

Other workshops will be needle felt mushrooms and ceramic pumpkin painting.

So much to look forward to as it will be in the beautiful setting of Oak Lodge Cafe, near Budleigh and will be with Laura Kent (Flourish Events), Laura Williams (Project Pause) and Helen Plant (Helen Plant Creative) ❤️🌳🍂.

A new chapter ... ✨🤩
I'm very excited to share some news about my creative work.

After a wonderful and hugely meaningful four years, working as a Creative Minds Artist, I'm now taking a different direction in my journey and going independent as an artist, art facilitator and therapeutic practitioner.

I want to say a huge thank you to Sarah Fenner, James Cropper and the Creative Minds team of artists 😊. I have loved being part of such a talented, creative and caring community whose purpose it is to bring joy through art to as many people as possible 🥰!

I've also loved getting to know so many people in the care homes I've visited and sharing art and creativity with them. Those experiences have meant a lot to me and will stay with me as I move forward.

The heart of what I do remains the same - using creativity, art and play to connect people, encourage expression, nurture wellbeing and create opportunities for people of all ages to explore their imagination. I'm now increasing my availability for the highly effective 1:1 Drawing & Talking sessions, supporting people in need of emotional support 🙏.

Thank you to everyone who has supported my creative journey so far 💛. Here's to the new adventures to be had as Catherine Phinn Arts & Play 😊🤩.

A heart-warming collection of sunflowers 🌻made at the Chatty Art Café a couple of sessions ago, by all different ages and abilities and all looking wonderful 👏😃.
