How cute are these little ducklings?! 🌸🫶

I love the little matching tattoos, especially when they’re something so sweet and a bit different.

These were such a fun little pair to tattoo and definitely one of those designs that makes me smile every time I look at them. ✨ maybe I’m biased because they were a flash design but 😍

Before anyone says it… yes, I did still reply to messages once a week 😂 I wasn’t completely off the face of the earth!

But having that distance from my business, even while keeping on top of the odd message, made such a difference.

It reminded me that:

✨ I don’t need to wait until I’m burnt out before I take a break.
✨ Switching off properly is important.
✨ My free time doesn’t always need to be productive.
✨ I put far too much pressure on myself sometimes.
✨ My business can carry on without me being glued to it every day.
✨ I don’t need to feel guilty for enjoying my time away.
✨ I want to create a business that fits around my life, not one that takes over it.
✨ And most importantly… I need to make time for myself before I desperately need a break.

I came back feeling refreshed, more inspired and actually excited to get back to tattooing again.

So if you’ve been telling yourself you’ll take a break “when things calm down”… maybe don’t wait until you’re completely exhausted to do it. 🌸

Finally got to tattoo one of my floral designs that’s been sitting in my flash book for over a year... and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. 🌿✨

It’s always so exciting when someone chooses one of my original designs. Seeing something that started as a sketch finally come to life on someone’s skin is one of my favourite parts of what I do.

I’d absolutely love to create more floral pieces like this. Whether you’re after something from my flash book or a completely custom design, I’d love to work with you to create something beautiful and unique.

Every custom tattoo starts long before the needle ever touches the skin. ✨

For this little fantail, I started with a hand-drawn sketch to work out exactly how to fill the space and make sure the design flowed beautifully. Once I was happy with the composition, I refined it digitally on my iPad before creating the final stencil.

Only then was it time to bring it to life.

I absolutely love this part of the process because it means every tattoo is thoughtfully designed for the person wearing it. No rushing, no guessing, just taking the time to create something that feels completely unique.

Watching an idea go from a simple sketch to a finished tattoo never gets old. 🖤

1. Hand tattoos are cute AF I have a love hate relationship with them 🫶
2. Fine line tattoos CAN heal beautifully when they’re done properly & sized correctly✨
3. Not every tattoo needs to be massive and bold to last🌿
4. Your tattoo does not need “deep
meaning” to deserve space on your body💌
5. Matching tattoos are cute and I’m tired of pretending they’re not 👯‍♀️
6. Florals are timeless and everyone needs them🌸
7. Tiny tattoos are just as hard as the big ones! I love them but my eyes 🫪
8. It’s never too late to get your first tattoo!!🪽
9. Grey wash fineline tattoos are such a great way to get into tattoos if you’re more on the “delicate” style side ✨
10. Ornamental tattoos are CUTE!!!!♥️
