Whether you are a professional musician, DJ, producer or an aspiring artist looking to kickstart your career, this event will give you the chance to experience cutting-edge music technology demos, music industry seminars and masterclasses delivered by high profile musicians, producers and product experts. If you’re just starting out as a Musician, DJ, or Producer and you don’t know where to turn for help, this is a once a year chance to get the lowdown from experienced professionals! Whether it’s about solving a software mystery, how best to mic your drums, acoustically treat your environment, or creating a whopping gert lush kick drum, then this one’s for you! Confirmed exhibitors include Yamaha Music, Native Instruments, Time+ Space, dBs Music and more. Keynote speakers include Richard Barbieri who has been the keyboard/synthesizer player for the last 12 years with Porcupine Tree, that has now developed into a successful touring band with major label releases and a worldwide profile. The panel will welcome back Ville Leppanen from Animal Farm and will be chaired by Nick Tarbitt from indie record label Integrity Records. The panel will be joined by legendary guitarist Steve Cradock (Paul Weller/Ocean Colour Scene) and Sally Cradock and ex-Seahorses drummer and singer-songwriter Andy Watts! The Analogue to Digital after-show gig will host artrock band GRICE who will close the show with a live performance playing tracks from the acclaimed album 'Propeller' as well as some bonus tracks from the forthcoming album 'Alexandrine'. Award winning recording studio in Exeter, Sound Gallery Studios are offering free taster sessions for 15-25 year olds as part of their Rising Artists Camp programme (funded by The Devon Youth Council). Rising Artists Camp is a music enrichment programme which offers young people the opportunity to record their music and learn new music production skills in a professional recording studio. Suitable for: young people aged 15-25 years who are involved in song-writing, lyric writing, singing, playing an instrument or composing music. Enrolments are open now!
