📢 A special community screening: The People’s Emergency Briefing

What’s happening with climate and nature, and what does it mean for everyday life in the UK?

Join us for a screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing - an eye-opening film bringing together nine leading UK scientists and experts with the latest evidence and why it matters for things like:

🌧️ Extreme weather
🍞 Food security
🏥 Health
💷 Cost of living

The film is based on the National Emergency Briefing in Westminster (featured by ITV, Channel 4 and The Times) with appearances from Chris Packham, Deborah Meaden, and a range of voices from across the UK.

After the film there will be a short open discussion about what it means for our community and what we can do locally.

Date: Wednesday 14 October
Time: 7:30pm
Duration: 50 minute film, 20 minute discussion
Ages: 16+
Tickets: pay what you can from £2

⛹️ Happy National Day of Play! Today is about recognising children's right to play: something we are happy to champion every day of the year.

We think play is important for us all, and we love being a place that the youngest members of our community (and some older ones too!) can come to experiment, imagine and explore their own creativity through enriching playful experiences.

Here's to another year of that 🧡

We are chuffed to have DH Psychology supporting us as Annual Venue Sponsor 2025-26 🧡

We're very grateful indeed for the generous support, which is helping our programme across the entire year, and we're extra pleased to be partnered with a local organisation doing such fantastic work with young people and families in our community.

Dr Duncan Harris is an Autism and ADHD specialist and assessor, and supports people to develop a better understanding of themselves and the challenges they face.

There is a wealth of useful information on Duncan's website about ways to best support neurodivergent children and young people. If this is something you're interested in, whether you're on this pathway or not, we recommend having a browse👇
