About last night...A truly inspiring space, which we felt very privileged to hold for the group of women who came together for our Her-Moan-All Health discussion workshop. A HUGE thank you to everyone who came, shared and gave space to explore the topic of women's health - and if we hadn't been convinced before about how much this subject needs representing, then we definitely are now!

Moments of goosebumps, nodding heads and shared frustration and sadness all tied up in to the truth that: we still overcome despite the setbacks women's health has given over half the population. Truly excited and feeling driven by what these wonderful women put into the session, so many excellent (and some very funny!) ideas that we'll be taking directly into the rehearsal room ready to help THE DAME SHOW take shape before it lands for its debut development showing at Barnfield Theatre on Fri 19 June (one extra showing to be announced soon too!).

For now, a thank you again to everyone who came along - watch this space for what you all help us create!

And today, here’s how you can get involved.

Following the announcement of DAME SHOW, we’re inviting women and women allies to take part in a story-sharing and discussion workshop that will directly inform the development of the show.

💬 HER-MOAN-ALL HEALTH: Story Sharing & Discussion

This facilitated workshop creates a supportive space to talk openly about women’s health - the myths, the gaps, the frustrations, the care (or lack of it), and the moments of solidarity and humour along the way.

The stories and conversations shared will help shape DAME SHOW, a new theatre piece premiering as part of the Reclaim Festival at Exeter Northcott.

You don’t need theatre experience.
You don’t need to prepare anything.
You just need a voice - and a willingness to listen or share.

We’re thrilled to announce DAME SHOW - a brand-new theatre piece in development - and even more excited to be bringing it to the Reclaim Festival, a celebration of women in the arts at Exeter Northcott.

DAME SHOW
A riotous new theatre piece dressed up as a classic TV game show - except the prize we’re after isn’t a cuddly toy… it’s the truth about women’s health.

Why has research into women’s health lagged behind?
What myths still shape diagnosis and care?
And what happens when women take back the mic?

Inspired by real stories, research and insight, Dame Show puts women’s voices centre stage -sometimes hilarious, sometimes heartbreaking, always eye-opening.

This is an early-stage sharing, and we want people involved.
Tomorrow we’ll be announcing how you can take part in a workshop discussion exploring the themes of the show and help shape its future – watch this space!

We’re excited to finally share the new trailer for CLUCK! 🐔

Filmed live during our debut Exeter performance last year, this gives a first proper glimpse of the show as we get ready to take CLUCK! on tour to festivals and venues across the UK - some dates coming soon!!

Happy (slightly belated) New Year! 🎉

At the end of last year I had the fantastic experience of a day working with participating in a Leading with Kindness training workshop with the brilliant Jacqueline and Tracy and a dramaturgy session with the wonderful Lakesha on our script.

Massive thanks to the whole team (particularly Allison for arranging everything) you were all so welcoming and I learnt so much (and am now really keen to put it all into my practise!!) Highly recommend working with this fab company ❤️

Very excited to now start re writes on the script - fingers crossed we can share it with you all soon 🤞
