Back from Fulda recently, having toured our new show SHELTER in a truck with the brilliant THEATER MITTENDRIN. Our animal audience were wellcomed aboard a lorry rather than our Lifeboat Theatre and we spent 45 minutes adrift on the challenges of climate change. School groups and family audiences hugely appreciative. Lively music and great fun too. Planning to bring the show back to The Lifeboat Theatre next summer.

After weeks of rehearsals, 29 performances and plenty of good old British weather, we can't believe that we have reached the end of our Alice in Wonderland tour!

It has been a joy to take this show on the road and we've loved meeting you all along the way. Thank you for joining us on our trip to Wonderland - see you soon!

Today is the turn of Richard - our very own Mad Hatter, who has loved the experience of performing in the open air!

"Usually the sun shines, but when it doesn’t there’s a particular special magic: at Ilsington, summer took a holiday and we performed in what was basically a gale. The brilliant audience stayed with us and the event became a glorious and very British celebration of The Show Must go On. Unforgettable. At Lustleigh the Red Arrows flew directly overhead at the perfect moment in the snow. Magical."

Today is our LAST SHOW in East Prawle at 5pm! Tickets will be available on the gate - don't miss out!!

Today is the turn of Dan, our wonderful Mock Turtle and Humpty Dumpty!

Dan's favourite part of the tour has been "visiting unknown villages (to me) around Devon and seeing the faces of all the boys, girls, mums and dads light up at the bright, vibrant characters that have been bought to life in this magical show."

There are just TWO stops left of the tour - we are in Woodbury Common today, for Heath Week and East Prawle tomorrow! Don't miss out - tickets for all shows available on the day!

Next up we have Bella, who has been bouncing through the tour as the White Rabbit 🐰

"This show has been wonderful, magical and a joy! One of my absolute favourite moments has been when we've been heckled by children when the Queen is on. One time they were shouting revolution during the Queen's speech! It's been fun seeing everyone interacting with all of us 🌞🌞"

We have just a few shows left now - Bradninch tonight, Woodbury Common tomorrow with Pebblebed heaths conservation trust and East Prawle on Sunday - don't miss out!

Today it's the turn of the wonderful Sarah White - our very own Queen of Hearts!

Sarah's favourite part of the tour has been "dancing with the audience at the end, admiring some pretty wonderful hats and costumes and getting to see some of the loveliest villages in Devon along the way."

If you haven't caught a performance of Alice in Wonderland yet, we are in Bradninch TODAY and tomorrow, before Woodbury Common for Heath Week on Saturday and in East Prawle on Sunday! Tickets available in person!

For our last week of Alice in Wonderland, we're sharing our highlights of the tour! First up is our wonderful Beatrice, who plays Alice!

"One of my favourite parts of the tour has been when the audience have stuck with us through rain, wind, thunder or heatwaves. For example, our show in 30 degree heat in Lapford was followed by an exhilarating storm in Ilsington. The audience stuck with us through the madness of wind-swept props and ‘the sun has got his hat on’ in the rain which was hilarious and made it one of my favourite moments."

Don't forget, you can still catch us TOMORROW and Friday in Bradninch, in Woodbury Common on Saturday and in East Prawle on Sunday!
