We are delighted to share that the Salcombe Regis Country Fair has successfully raised just under £11,000 through its remarkable community event. The profits has been shared among nine local charities, including the Sidmouth School of Art, for which we are immensely grateful 🥰 This generous donation will support our initiatives aimed at providing community art projects for everyone to enjoy. Exciting plans are already underway for next year’s fair, scheduled for Thursday, June 3, which promises to be a wonderful occasion worth supporting, as always 😊

An Open Call for 2D artwork in response to Bob & Roberta’s Puzzle 4 Sidmouth has garnered substantial interest from schools, enriching the national conversation in art education.

As part of our bid to become the UK Town of Culture for 2028, we’ve sent a digital postcard to the Department for Culture, Media and Sport. This isn’t just any postcard – it features stunning abstract artwork created through a 12-layer screen print process by Emma Molony. It beautifully represents our town’s evolving art and cultural scene, shaped by over 40 conversations within our community. Each layer tells a part of our vibrant story, showcasing the creativity and passion that makes Sidmouth special. The digital composition was created by Sam Eyre.
Here’s to celebrating our heritage and the future ahead! 🩵💙💚
