This is the part we LOVE.

And yes… there were a few versions that were an immediate absolutely not 😂

But eventually it clicked.

BUILDING ME — EPISODE 04 🎬

As if life wasn’t stressful enough… Covid landed 🤣

At the time I was staying at my friend’s house and one night, while we were asleep, someone broke in and stole my car. We woke up, looked outside… and it was just gone. 🙃 the police found it a few hours later looking like… not a car.

I had no idea what I was doing next, but I still had a roof over my head, my phone and my paint brushes.

So… back to the artwork it was 🎨

I painted a simple quote on the garden wall and somehow it went completely viral. Even OPRAH posted it 😭😂

From there I started putting my artwork onto face masks, sending them all over the world during one of the strangest times any of us had ever lived through.

And then… bestie called 📞🔥

It was time to build something new.

EPISODE 03 — Another chapter of BUILDING ME 🎬

We built EASHO from my mum’s front room, photographing toilet roll and cleaning products ourselves while everyone thought I was mad for trying to sell it through Instagram 😂
you look good in this!

Then the queen, Mrs Hinch happened. The website crashed, storage goals went viral, she has such an insane and incredible impact on the Growth of Easho! and our insane community kept on growing and eventually we hit £1 MILLION in revenue.

I celebrated with a chocolate twist from Lidl and immediately thought… what’s next? 😂

A few months later, I had my own art studio in London again and everything felt like it was finally going right.

Then suddenly… I couldn’t access anything. I was so confused

And then Covid hit.

My car had just been stolen, I didn’t know what I was doing and we weren’t even allowed to leave the house.

One thing I did have though… my paint brushes 🎨

And that ended up becoming the start of another chapter.

Every single business, mistake, win and complete WTF moment taught me something about building brands, and now we’ve put all of that into BUILD.

I said i would start sharing the stories behind the scenes I’ve never shared before. And here’s the first of that. If you’ve not watched the first, go do so! This is early 20s me in 2014/15

BUILDING ME — EPISODE 02.

I got investors Not long after the Rihanna moment, a ‘succesful’ couple approached me wanting to invest in my art business.

We signed a 50/50 of Aymsdesigns… yes, I know, stupid 😂 we were doing great though! Life was good But then they wanted to launch another business too, under Ayms Designs. At the time, I didn’t question it. I was in my early 20s, excited, ambitious and honestly just saw opportunity where I probably should’ve seen one massive red flag 🚩why did I not question why they wouldn’t want it in their names seeing as it had nothing to do with art?

But for a while, it felt like everything was working.

I moved into this huge art studio. We launched Wizboard. Brooklyn Beckham had one. The Vamps were involved. The Ramsays were involved. Then Costco started placing huge orders with us.

Within the first three-six months, we were doing about 30k months (all organic no paid ads) and then Costco orders ontop! Money was going in, but going out just as fast. I remember seeing the first 100k order in the account I was so excited!!

To me, as a girl in her early 20s, seeing that kind of money coming into a business I’d helped create felt absolutely insane.

I thought I’d made it.

Then I watched the bank account empty.

They had put everything under my name and I guess all consequences were on me

And, as you can see… things went very wrong 😂

Just a young 20 something girl wishing she just kept painting away. But weirdly, I think this part of my story taught me more about business than any of the success ever did.

It did teach me a lot of lessons, but did I learn from them? 🙃 guess we shall see!

ALSO side note… the investors depicted in this story do not look like the real people and have no resemblance to them. The events and story being told are true.

BUILDING ME — EPISODE 01 🎬

Bringing a moment back from 2013, where it all began is kinda scary but I love it! Where badgalriri literally changed my life in more ways than one. This moment right here gave me the confidence in myself and to believe anything can happen!

I’m LOVING that I’ve been learning how to take old, real-life stories from my life and actually bring them to life visually. Story telling is such a huge part of brand building in many ways, and I think this is how AI should be used. Not to fully take over, but to share what’s in our minds and bring them to reality. & I think all the ai mishaps actually make it 🤣

It even captured my first studio in my mums basement!
And don’t mind me in my little black Ford Fiesta with my KISS AYMS number plate 😂 who remembers this?!
I’m also not entirely sure why I’m basically driving licking the windscreen in the final scene, but we move 😭

This is only Episode 01 and I’ve got sooo many stories I want to bring to life.
