Saturday 22nd August!

Please don’t fish on pegs 1-9 on the town (corporation meadow) on the 22nd, the rowing club have got a mini regatta and so there will be rowing boats flying up and down the river here! They won’t be going down past 9 much so the rest of the stretch will be fine!

Sadly tomorrow’s rearranged match is cancelled as yet again the rivers flooded.

This match won’t be rescheduled again now as we’ve ran out of space in the year🫢hopefully we can get a few more good matches back in the river before the closed season🎣

Rearranged match🤞🏻

This Sunday’s Avon team champs is cancelled, providing the river isn’t too high the EDAA will run a rescheduled Jenny’s Cup on the ferry and common. Jay will make the final call on Saturday lunchtime if it’s safe to fish but we’re hopfull🤞🏻no need to book on just turn up for a 9am draw at the ferry.

The EDAA pairs winter league has also finished now after just 3 rounds, we will refund all anglers the 4th and 5th round in full when we next see you and also announce the winners and prize winners on Sunday

Unfortunately the river is still coming up and so tomorrow’s match will be cancelled.

The next reserve date is February 1st for the 4th round of the pairs league.

We have no more reserve dates for round 5, we will keep you all updated on if and when we can fish this🤞🏻🤞🏻

The rivers on the way up, hopefully not too much more. We will make the decision on if we’re running the fourth round of the pairs league by midday tomorrow, watch this space and pray the river doesn’t come up any more!

AGM!

On Tuesday 17th February we will be having our annual general meeting. All members are welcome and we encourage anglers to come to hear about some of the agendas we have for the year, this is also the perfect time to raise any concern or suggestions to the committee. As always we try to improve the EDAA and fishing around Evesham season after season.

The AGM will take place 17/02/2026 at 19:30 at the Hampton Working Men’s Club, Evesham, WR11 2PN. We expect this to last around an hour but may run on depending on how many attend.
