I have been meaning to use this porcelain somehow in my work. The pieces come from the local tea room that was on the pier during the 1920s and 1930s. Whenever a plate, tea cup or saucer were broken, they would throw it over the side of the pier, into the sea. Made by James Farquharson and Sons, a London based manufacturer of crockery for hotels and restaurants.

There is something so elegant about Sea Foam White Sea glass. It makes the perfect jewellery. 🤍🌊

I was thrilled to find this soft peach pink piece. Only 1 in 3-4,000 pieces found are this colour. This piece has a carved line going through the middle suggesting it comes from decorative cut glassware most likely from the depression era.
