After one of our performances of The Hideout, we received a wonderful and heartfelt message from an audience member:

“I watched The Hideout today with my 7 year old son and his friend and we thought it was brilliant. Such a beautiful and high standard of production and accomplished performance. The use of space and set was incredible!

As the mother of a child who can experience big feelings around groups of new people, I felt really moved by the piece (I welled up a couple of times!). It felt so powerful for this conflict to be represented in a gentle and non-judgemental way. A good reminder that every child is different, and each can do things in their own way and own time.

Thank you for making a beautiful piece of art for children.”

These kinds of messages mean so much to us and our team -they’re a huge part of the reason of why we do what we do!

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us 🧡

We love this lot!

The Hideout has received support from a whole bunch of organisations throughout its creation.

Arts Council England - we’ve already shouted out this lot, but their funding is essential
Jacksons Lane - gave us space in their theatre during our R&D, to explore ideas & host a public sharing
Worthing Theatres and Museum - providing us with theatre time for our tech days, before our tour kicked off
The Horton Arts Centre - our local arts centre, providing subsidised rehearsal space (so close to home!)
101 Outdoor Arts - welcomed us into their creation space before we even knew what the show was about!
- Neurodevelopmental Specialists advising us on the shows themes, and ensuring the content is accessible, appropriate & engaging for our audiences

We’re currently on tour throughout Autumn 2026.
