We perform a vast repertoire from classical choral works to jazz arrangements. Caritas is a contemporary classical mixed-voice choir dedicated to enriching local events —secular and religious —with refined musical performances. Guided by our classically trained musical director, we strive to deliver the highest standards in our community and beyond. The group members in addition to the choral perf
ormances feature the talents of some talents of soloists from within the group. We perform a wide repertoire of SATB works - a very broad repertoire encompassing Classical, Religious, Easy listening, Popular Hits , Musical Theatre and Traditional Irish Vocal Music. Caritas have broadcast on BBC television, BBC radio shows including Sing out by John Anderson), BBC radio's John Toal Show and many performances for local arts events in many Fermanagh venues, performed at religious services, and collaborated in concerts of carols and organ music with Desmond Hunter (organist) with Ken Whelan (accordeonist) and with several other choral groups including Allegri Choir. Helen Hamill, (musical director of Caritas) herself a pianist and vocalist, has been involved in much choral direction in Fermanagh since her graduation in music almost 30 years ago. John Anderson on BBC describing Caritas says "it is impossible not to be genuinely impressed with the infectious atmosphere and the love that they have for the choir, and for what they do". Caritas love to perform and we have performing at many Choir Concerts and Choral Festivals and have determined that Christmas Carol Concerts supporting many local charities and also.
