Be Seen, Be Heard, Belong: Showing up through sport, starting with yoga
It’s not about being “good” at a sport. It’s about showing up, taking one small step, and building confidence as you go. When women make space for themselves, they’re more likely to feel seen, heard, and connected. That’s belonging.
What people get from yoga:
Confidence and self-worth: learning to trust your own decisions and listen to your body.
Stronger body, steadier mind: you’ll be surprised how challenging it is, and how quickly you progress.
Less overwhelm: movement helps shift you out of overthinking and into feeling more grounded and clear-headed.
Support in a fast-paced world: time to reset so you’re less likely to burn out - especially when you’re the one caring for everyone else.
A welcoming “safe space”: mixed abilities, no judgement, and a chance to connect - sometimes it’s a deep chat, sometimes it’s plenty of laughs.
Finding your tribe starts with one step
Catherine (teacher) and Inga (student) agreed to take part in this campaign because they show what belonging can look like. A shared class, a friendly face, a chat and a cuppa can be the difference between feeling on the outside and feeling part of something. Confidence grows when you keep showing up, and so do real friendships. That’s what Be Seen, Be Heard, Belong is about.
Move, breathe, belong
