So great to be back in my happy place after a week off! ☺️
As we head into this new month, I just wanted to share a little polite reminder about Pilates class etiquette. A little courtesy goes a long way and helps us keep our sessions calm, focused and enjoyable for everyone.
Pilates Etiquette 101
1. Arrive a few minutes early
It gives you time to settle in, get your mat ready and allows us to start the class together. Late arrivals can be a little disruptive to the flow and energy of the room.
2. Switch phones to silent (or, even better, off!) 📵
Pilates is our time to switch off, be present and focus on our bodies. Try to give yourself a little phone-free time — I promise the world can wait for an hour!
3. Be mindful of your space
Please set up your mat with enough room for yourself and your neighbour to move freely and safely.
4. Listen to your body
Everyone’s body is different, so please take modifications when needed, work at your own level and rest whenever your body asks you to. 🤍
5. Stay present
Please don’t chat during exercises, this allows everyone to concentrate, connect with their body and get the most from their session.
Thank you, as always, for being such a lovely, supportive bunch. 🥰
Here’s to a fresh month of moving, strengthening, stretching and feeling good!
