Pop along and jam or just enjoy
📢 🎛 🔊It's one week until Jam Night time again! It's been a little while since the last one, but it's back again with another perfect opportunity to come down with some equipment and be part of a colourful room, full of collaboration, great vibes and improvised/experimental electronic music!
Thursday 11th May, 7pm over at The Blue Moon!
If you've not been to Jam Night before, check out the Jam Night info pack (https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1-1RbzfToVOA3BR53AfZ_4QeavDYPK21B?usp=sharing)
For any style of performance with digital and/or analogue techniques:
Synthesizers, Drum Machines, Samplers, Eurorack/Modular, Controllers, Tape Loops, Sequencers, Live Coding, Visuals/3D Graphical Performance, Turntablism, Improvisation, DIY Electronics, RPi/Arduino, MPC's, iPads, Laptops, Pedals, MaxMSP/Jitter/PureData/Reaktor... and more!
* Doors open at 7pm. Come and sign-up for a group to jam with. Bring a friend or meet new people to improvise with!
* To make these nights accessible, entrance is free, but we really need your help to support these nights. We would really appreciate a donation (cash, card or digital) towards the evening's running costs.
* This is an electronic instrumental jam. Anyone wishing to play must be part of, or incorporate a creative element of technology (not just acoustic instruments or only sole use of electronic amplification).
* Bring your own equipment + cables! We'll have inputs to accommodate 1/4" TRS, XLR, RCA and 3.5mm jack so you can plug into the house PA.
* All experience levels are welcome! For those without kit or classically trained players new to electronic music, we'll be supplying a Nord Drum 3P and a Arturia MiniBrute SE. There's also an iConnectivity MioXM and/or an Ableton Link network for any sync (please supply your own midi cables and/or midi to CV converter).
* A perfect opportunity to meet like minded people, network and find new musical friends!
