They got easily distracted, but still solved the 'Mystery at the Museum' with time to spare!

Over the past decade, the UK escape room industry has grown enormously, driven by passionate creators, talented designers, ambitious companies, and a community that continually pushes standards higher year after year. There is an extraordinary amount of creativity and craftsmanship within our industry that deserves to be recognised and celebrated.

With that in mind, we are incredibly excited to announce the launch of the UK Escape Room Awards 🏆

Organised and created by a collaborative team of experienced players from across the country, the awards aim to celebrate and honour the very best experiences and creative talent within the UK escape room scene through a rigorous, transparent, and community-driven process.

The awards will be nominated and voted on by the community itself, with eligibility and voting requirements designed to ensure a fair, credible, and experience-driven process. Last week we were privileged to test the new game from Exit Rooms - Cambridge Escape Rooms - Specimen 27.

We were investigating some mysterious radio transmission when when the transmission suddenly stopped. We woke up in a dimly lit room, with seemingly no way out...

The game was incredible, and might just be our favourite game in the UK. We fully expect Specimen 27 to rank highly in the UK top 100.

A great set, absolutely packed with puzzles!

Today we met these wonderful escapees, on a road trip from Kent! They made light work of both games.
