What an incredible four days it has been at the Ellesmere Arts Festival!

From the Ellesmere Arts Festival Committee, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this so special 💛

👏 To all our amazing artists, performers, makers, and speakers – your creativity and passion brought the festival to life
🤝 To our volunteers, organisers, venues, and supporters – we simply couldn’t have done it without you
🎟️ And to everyone who came along, took part, and supported the events – thank you for being part of it all

Ellesmere truly came alive with art, music, theatre, and community spirit, and it’s been wonderful to see so many people enjoying everything on offer.

We hope you’ve loved it as much as we have… and we’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year!

We’ve reached the grand finale and it’s going out with a bang! Join us today for a packed programme of creativity, performance, and community spirit across Ellesmere.

🚤 Wander the canal and discover unique narrowboat art traders
🎶 Enjoy live music and performances throughout the day
🖌️ Get hands-on with quilling and crafting workshops
🎭 Experience drama, storytelling, and history brought to life
📖 Talks, recitals, and plenty of local talent to celebrate

There’s something happening around every corner—from St Mary’s to The Market Hall, The Magic Lantern, and beyond!

🍻 Round it off with stories, poems and a pint or two at The White Hart

Delighted that we have with us genuine 'floating' talent. If you haven't been for a walk down the canal today's the day.. remember these wonderful artists are currently 'trapped' due to the breach at whitchurch, so do please show them some support.

A short and very funny play about a committee planning an event was performed by the AmDrams this afternoon. Catch them at St Mary’s Church on Monday at 2-2.30pm.
