🏆 CALLUM WOOD TAKES EVENT 7! 🏆
After being the bridesmaid so often, Callum appeared last night in white, determined to finally become the bride — and become the latest first-time winner of our 900+ Series! 🎱
And that’s exactly what he did. 👏
Callum topped his group with 3 wins from 3, setting up a semi-final against the ever-impressive Jack Williamson, who continued his excellent form by coming through his group with 3 wins from 4.
In the other semi-final, Shaun Hendry faced Regan Campbell. Campbell had already defeated Shaun in the group stages with some impressive scoring, but Shaun gained his revenge when it mattered most, coming through to book his place in the final.
Shaun’s route to the semi-final was anything but straightforward. He had to survive a blue-ball shootout for the final qualifying spot, eventually finding himself up against the Scales family — Evan and Graham.
Evan had already battled through his own blue-ball shootout to make the playoff, but eventually it came down to Graham and Shaun. The two went back and forth, but Shaun held his nerve one final time to claim the spot and keep his hopes of a second event victory alive.
In the final, Shaun had been in fine form throughout the night, but unfortunately for him, he couldn’t quite find the breakthrough he needed.
