🏆 **Snooker 6-Red Series – Event 10 Report**
The final qualifying event before the Grand Final is complete, and with places in the top 16 still up for grabs, there was everything to play for as 10 players were split into two groups of five.
**Group 1** proved to be a tightly contested affair. Craig Ellis continued his impressive improvement throughout the series, becoming the first player to secure a semi-final place with another excellent performance. The second qualification spot came down to the final group match, where Paul Shaughnessy produced a superb display to defeat last week's champion, Shaun Hendry, and top the group.
**Group 2** belonged to Stevie Sturrock, who was in outstanding form throughout the evening. Four wins from four saw him comfortably finish top of the group, while John McGrath recovered well after a slow start to claim the second semi-final place.
The semi-finals produced two excellent matches. Stevie Sturrock maintained his unbeaten run by defeating Craig Ellis, while John McGrath edged past Paul Shaughnessy to set up yet another final between two of the series' most consistent performers.
The final had a familiar look, with both John and Stevie making multiple appearances in finals over the course of the 10-week series. Once again the standard was excellent, but it was **Stevie Sturrock** who came out on top, defeating John McGrath in another closely fought contest to finish the evening with a perfect **6 wins from 6** and claim the **Event 10 title**. 👏🏆
With the qualifying series now complete, attention turns to the **Snooker 6-Red Grand Final**, which will take place on **Thursday 9th July**.
The **top 16 players** in the overall points standings will receive their invitations next week as they battle it out to become the 2026 Snooker 6-Red Series Champion.
Congratulations to Stevie on another fantastic performance, and good luck to everyone hoping to secure their place in the Grand Final!
