MacMoray has come a long way since we started out as a humble one day festival in Cooper Park.
We’re proudly Scottish, fiercely independent, locally owned and family run. The Journey has been mental!.. full of ups & downs but endless support & Love. No corporate backing, no big investors behind the scenes. Just a local family with ambitions and a determination to create something special right here in Moray.. & when we all get together for one crazy weekend.. we all buzz!
Fast forward a few years and that little one day festival has grown into something quite extraordinary. Thousands of people coming together, some of the biggest names in music performing in Elgin, and people travelling from all over the world to experience MacMoray.
From a few thousand to 30,000 & 3 days.
And despite how big it’s become, the heart of MacMoray hasn’t changed. It’s still very much a family affair, built around our community & the people who have supported us from day one.
We’ve already achieved things we could only have dreamed of when we started, but we’re nowhere near finished yet!
We’re now asking for your support in the Scots Trad Music Awards, Category 2, Event of the Year. Something about Scottish Tradition Awards hit different.. & we believe we tick every box 📦 🤩🥳🥰
For a completely independent festival from Moray to receive this recognition would be something pretty special.
