Hey guys, Sammy here.

Last summer was by far the best one I've had in a decade and I couldn't begin to thank you all enough for the love and support you've shown us! It's been amazing to see so many people get behind a fresh idea!

Winter however, absolutely sucked! Pain levels have been through the roof and my mobility's taken a real hit. It's not been an easy call but I've finally gotta say that Sammy's Skate School will not be reopening for lessons this year. I know.. it sucks and I truly am sorry!

But hey, it's not all bad news! This does allow me to prioritize my recovery and dedicate time to an exciting new collaboration we may have in the works for Our Indoor Skatepark Project! (We're hoping to announce this collaboration soon, and I can't wait to see what good it brings!)

Finally I have got to give the biggest of all shoutouts to every one of you who braved it and stepped on a skateboard for the first time last year. You guys absolutely killed it and should be hella proud of yourselves!

Egremont's newbies have become an awesome community filled with rad, respectful, and passionate young skaters and even though I won't be around as much this year, I do hope you all keep shredding and teaching each other!

Hey guys!

Anyone wanna learn how to turn last summer's skateboard into this winter's snowboard?

We're thinking of holding a workshop session making makeshift snowboards from old decks.

£15 if you bring your own board or £30 if you need one provided! Who's in?

All money raised will go towards Egremont Indoor Skatepark :)

Still buzzing from our first Halloween Jam on Saturday, what a turnout!

Thank you to everyone who helped make the party happen and to those who donated towards the Egremont Indoor Skatepark and Social Hub (we raised £50 🥳). A massive well done also to our best dressed Were-skater, Elliot, for putting so much effort into bringing the Halloweeny vibes with him! True rockstar 🤟

One more thing that we really feel needs said...
To the group of scary looking teenage lads that walked by towards the end of the party asking us what we were doing.. You could've easily mocked us all for looking daft and made the younger skaters feel intimidated and uncomfortable (as others sadly have) but instead you chose kindness, you said hello and you left us alone until we'd cleared up and gone.

You're the guys we wanna thank most of all!
Each one of us appreciates these small acts of kindness and you're respected so much more for showing it to others. Keep up the kindness guys 🤙🤙

Hey everyone! Just in case any of you were wondering why I've not been down the park in this nice weather, he's to blame!

This little guy was rejected by his mum on Monday at just 18 days old. So, after a trip to the vets and a stressful few days of low sleep, bottle feeds and body heat I'm happy to say he's doing really well!
