Hey there! My name’s Theo and I’m part of the ensemble cast for ‘Too Long Unsaid’. It’s going to be a really great show which explores what it really means to grow up as part of the LGBTQ+ community in the 21st century. Brilliantly written and directed by Elliot Perlic. Hello, I’m Jess and I’m a first year drama and theatre studies student.
I am so honoured and excited to be part of this project. I’ve found the physical aspects of this rehearsal process really engaging and look forward to using the skills I’ve learnt from this in the future. This is a piece very close to my heart and I’ve loved exploring LGBTQ+ culture through our writer’s emotive poetry and prose. I can’t wait to show everyone what we have created.

What struck me most about this project is the passion and feeling behind it, but also the influence we have as student performers to enact real change in our Uni environment. Too Long Unsaid really represents the power we have in our voices to make people feel included and empowered. I just knew I had to be a part of such a special production.

First up we have the amazing Ezra Fiddimore!!

I’m a first year English and Drama student, and this is my first Student Workshop production! Too Long Unsaid is such an exciting show to be involved with. Performing poetry onstage is a new and enjoyable challenge for me, and I can’t wait for people to see the ways we’ve experimented to make this show as captivating as possible. Make sure you get your tickets for the 11th and 12th of February 2020, in the RS2!
