Classes in Classical Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Lyrical, Cheerleading, Street Dance, Drama, Acrobatic, Latin, Ballroom & Freestyle Disco Spotlight Studios are members of the Royal Academy of Dance, International Dance Teachers Association & British Theatre Dance Association. We are proud of our 100% exam pass rate and enter many exam sessions

each year. Our studio is in Edwinstowe and have been in our current premises since 2000. We offer two purpose built, air conditioned studios with professionally raised wooden shock-absorbing (sprung floors) for the well-being, safety and health of our dancers. All of our teachers are fully qualified and DBS checked. We look forward to welcoming you!

☀️ THE SUNSHINE IS HERE TO STAY! ☀️

With the hot weather continuing over the next few days, we'd just like to remind all of our Spotlight families that both of our studios are fully air conditioned ❄️

That means our dancers can stay cool, comfortable and focused while they dance, rehearse and have lots of fun – whatever the temperature outside!

A few little reminders:

💧 Please bring a named water bottle.
👕 Wear cool, comfortable dancewear where appropriate.
🍎 Pack a light snack if your child is with us for multiple classes.

Our priority is making sure everyone enjoys their classes safely while still having an amazing time. We can't wait to see another week of smiles, hard work and brilliant dancing! 💜

A final reminder that payment for our Royal Academy of Dance examinations is due tomorrow (Sunday 14th June).

📅 Exam Date: Sunday 27th September

✨ 9:00 - 10:45am Class
• Primary – £38
• Grade 1 – £39

✨ 9:45 – 10:45am Class
• Dance to Your Own Tune – £22
• Pre-Primary – £34

✨ 10:45am – 12:15pm Class
• Grade 2 – £40/£47

✨ 10:45am – 12:15pm Class
• Grade 4 – £56

📌 All payments must be received by tomorrow.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept late entries as exam entries must be submitted to the Royal Academy of Dance by the deadline.

⚠️ Please note that once exam entries have been submitted, fees become non-refundable in line with RAD regulations.

If your child wishes to take their exam, please ensure payment is made before the deadline to avoid disappointment.

At Spotlight Studios, we offer private
lessons for just £6.50 per 30 minutes.

Private lessons are a fantastic way to help dancers prepare for exams, build confidence and reach their full potential. They provide the opportunity for:

✔ One-to-one support from our experienced teachers
✔ Extra practice and personalised feedback
✔ Improved technique and performance skills
✔ Increased confidence ahead of exams and assessments

Sometimes a little extra practice can make all the difference on exam day! 💜

💬 Message us to book a private lesson for your child today.

⭐ Private lessons are subject to availability and allocated on a first come, first served basis.
⭐ Lessons must be arranged directly with the teacher and prepaid in blocks of 4/5 weeks depending on month length via ClassForKids.
⭐ Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, or non-attendance, will be charged at the full lesson price.
⭐ If you no longer require your booked lesson slot, please let us know as soon as possible. Some days have waiting lists and we would love to offer the space to another dancer.
