Our mini mart market returns this weekend and features our very own Chelsea of Chelsea Marie Art.

When she’s not organising and running our mini mart market Chelsea runs her very own studio.

Chelsea Marie Art is a tiny studio in the heart of Leith dedicated to producing handmade works and prints. They also run community projects and workshops for those who are looking to incorporate more art into their daily life. Each painting and creation is made for those who want to rebel against the artificial by adding something unique and original to their home.

As well as running her very own studio, Chelsea also hosts Sesh and Sketch, you might’ve attended one of these at the Pitt, Salt Horse Pub or The Dreadnought - if you haven’t then get signed up! Sesh and Sketch is a community gathering and art club where growing artists meet up to create and craft. It began in 2022 at the Bullfinch Pub in Leith in order to share in the joy of making artwork and drinking great craft beer with good company and has grown into a well established community staple.

Phew! Canadian born Chelsea has recently joined us at The Pitt and we are blessed with her excellent organisation skills and creativity. She hopped across the pond 7 years ago from the west coast of Canada and has established herself here as an incredibly talented artist and illustrator. Come along and say hi tomorrow and have a look at her brilliant collection. Get yourself a one of a kind illustration for your home!

We’ve a load of great folks at our markets this weekend, come escape the rain with some tasty scran and support our lovely people and their wee businesses!
