3pm: Mairi Campbell: Auld Lang Syne

Delivered with her trademark wit and unparalleled musical ability, this funny and heartfelt show resonates with universal truths. As we learn about the song and its history, we journey with Mairi as she negotiates the politics of childhood friendships; the challenges of romantic relationships and the highs and lows of success and failure.
6pm- 7pm - St Giles' at Six: The Edinburgh Kevock Choir
FREE charity concert under HEART
Sacred and Secular music including Mozart Ave Verum, Fauré Cantique de Jean Racine, Quilter Non Nobis Domine, Whitacre The Seal Lullaby, spirituals and arrangements of Scottish and Irish song, including Ae Fond Kiss and a different arrangement of My Love is Like a Red Red Rose.
Entry is FREE, with an optional donation, with all contributions collected going to the charity Edinburgh Clothing Store, an entirely volunteer organisation, who support around 1800 people in the city.
7pm- 10pm - Nadine Shah plus special guests Attawalpa
Assembly Rooms, George Street

Visual artist Michael Pendry’s HEART lights-up the cathedral with the very symbol of life itself, a new three-dimensional work measuring five metres tall, which will transform the space with a ticketed evening illumination and soundscape for visitors.
