Youth Connection are proud to announce that we will be returning to the this year with Independent Means, the dramatic tale of the infamous Brides in the Bath Murders!

Based on the trial transcripts of the case against George Joseph Smith, who was executed in 1915, this hard-hitting, creative reconstruction examines the contradictions in Smith’s life and in the society which threw up his victims.

Written by David Watson and originally performed by YC in 1993, the current generation of the group are excited to explore this dark tale and bring it back to a Fringe audience.

Dates: 26-28th July 2022
Time: 8pm
Venue: Assembly Rooms Theatre

*NEW POST*

We’re excited to share with you that we will be performing the Lucky Durhams at the Durham Fringe Festival this year! After two successful runs at the Edinburgh Festival and a number of sell out performances locally, it is a great honour that we will be revisiting the trenches of the Somme once more, reminding people of the sacrifices made by those young men.

Tickets are available at www.durhamfringe.co.uk/shows

So today most of the Lucky Durham’s (and a few extras) returned to Edinburgh to support our writer David Watson and his one man comedy show Hyper Nice. We didn’t manage a photo all together and we missed our 2017 Lieutenant Craig Wallace who couldn’t be there, but we thoroughly enjoyed David’s show.
