As a self-professed dance class addict, I dread the end of the summer term at my local dance centre, and the long break from my favourite classes that accompanies it. I thought there may be other community dancers who felt the same so I decided to try my luck and ask the best teachers that Edinburgh has to offer to come and teach an intensive week of classes in early July, when other dance schools

and centres are closed. Fortunately, they agreed and so began The Edinburgh Summer Dance Series (formerly The Edinburgh Summer Sessions)...... and long may they continue!
