Pretty Knickers Productions are an emerging Scottish, all-female company who create bold theatre making no apologies. They were founded in 2016 by Sarah Dingwall, Claire Docherty, Niamh Kinane, Mhairi McCall, Becky Niven and Lana Pheutan whilst studying Acting for Stage and Screen: ever since then they have aspired to create playful but poignant work. Pretty Knickers Productions are an incredibly
close knit company, which allows them to make their best and most honest work. They are a diverse group of young women with a lot to say. Pretty Knickers have members who are fluent in British Sign language and Gàidhlig and we strive to make our work accessible to all. They debuted ‘OUT’ written by Pretty Knickers’ very own Lana Pheutan, at this year’s PBH Free Fringe, in Edinburgh. The play was recieved incredibly well and Pretty Knickers Productions recieved wonderful praise for the performances and the writing. It had been an ambition for us all to perform at the Edinburgh Fringe, as we value it as a wonderful festival in the city that brought us all together. Don’t be scared, don’t be shamed, don’t be sorry. Pretty Knickers Productions x
