Funding opportunity for jazz musicians. Deadline is 3rd of October 2025. The Peter Whittingham Jazz Award & Help Musicians are offering the following:

One awardee will receive:
• £5,000 in financial support towards your work. This could include recording new material, a period of mentoring, promotional activity and much more
• One-to-one business advice, tailored to your needs and delivered via experienced music industry professionals

In addition, a further £5,000 is distributed between musicians demonstrating potential to make an impact in the scene. Those musicians will also receive one-to-one business advice.

Testing some monitors out at the end of last year, all very different. I think the Neumann KH310 win it for me for their accuracy, but the HEDD Type 20 sounded amazing, much more enjoyable for listening to music on. Big up KMR Audio for the hookup.

Did sound at Belladrum Festival 2019 at the Hootananny Potting Shed Stage for another company. Was great fun. Hoping to see some festivals go ahead this year.
