⭐ Autumn term continues with Block 2 from Monday 19th October 😀

➡️ We have kids classes every day, in Hip hop, Musical Theatre, Commercial, Breakdance, and K-pop, from age 1+ at our purpose-built studio in Leith, and also in Fountainbridge (DH-West)! Registrations are open online now for all kids classes (Link in Bio and click Classes > Kids Classes)

➡️ Our adults classes and sessions run every day - Over 50s and Seated dance socials are all drop-in with no need to book, while other adults classes can all be booked online on a weekly basis, up to 6 days in advance of each class! Updates for Block 2 of term:
🔸️Toddler's Fun & Dance (age 1+) has moved to Fridays at 10am
🔸️New Seated Dance class & social every Thursday at 2pm: a gentle, 30 minute class followed by tea & coffee - all ages welcome, accompanying carers free

Fun 30 or 45 minute Preschool dance classes at our purpose-built dance studio inside Ocean Terminal centre, Leith for ages 1yr to school age! 😃

Classes include games, dance moves and imagination to develop coordination, motor skills and rhythm. Monday classes are Musical Theatre Minis, while Tuesday - Friday classes are general dance, with elements of musical theatre and hip hop dance.

🔸Toddlers Fun & Dance (1yr+ with parent/guardian):
Fridays 10 - 10.45am with Chloe
30-min class plus social time with tea, coffee & juice

🔸Musical Theatre Minis (2-4yrs with parent/guardian):
Mondays 3.30 - 4pm with Shereen

🔸Preschool Minis (2-4yrs with parent/guardian), with Chloe:
Tuesdays 3.45 - 4.15pm, or
Fridays 1 - 1.30pm

🔸Preschool (3yrs to school-age), with Chloe:
Weds 3.45 - 4.30pm, or
Thurs 3.30 - 4.15pm, or
Fri 11 - 11.45am

Autumn Term Block 2 starts from Mon 19th October - dance classes in Leith & Fountainbridge! 🎉

We offer kids classes in Hip hop, Musical Theatre, Breaking, K-Pop and Commercial dance, and a wide range of adults classes for all ages and abilities including Hip hop, House dance, Commercial & Heels, Popping, Locking, Waacking, Line Dance and more!

We had such an amazing day this June at our annual Summer Show in Princes St Gardens, with all of our community coming together to celebrate and showcase! Classes from Preschool and kids classes across Leith and Fountainbridge branches, to adults classes and over 50s, along with our Youth Dance Companies and resident adults Dance Companies all performed on the same stage - from Preschool to Professional 🌞🥳

The kids will learn terrifyingly fun Halloween-themed choreography, and create take-home Halloween crafts 👻

Fancy dress very much encouraged, afternoon snack provided plus goody bags for everyone!. Mini-show at the end of afternoon for family & friends 😃

Our Over 50s and Seated dance socials run every week during term times at our purpose-built studio in Ocean Terminal, Leith - join us each week for Dance Fiesta, Jazz, Line Dance and Seated Dance (all ages).

All levels of experience very welcome 😃 These classes are all drop-in each week - no need to commit to a term - with payments by card or cash at reception of £5 per session / £4 per Seated Dance session, including tea & biscuits.

🔸Over 50s Dance Fiesta:
🔹Mondays, 2.30 - 3.15pm
🔹Tea & coffee from 2pm
🔹Taught by Shereen, learn moves from dance styles including salsa and disco in this lively class!

🔸Over 50s Jazz:
🔹Tuesdays, 2 - 2.45pm
🔹Tea & coffee from 1.30pm
🔹Taught by Chloe, learn steps from Broadway jazz to the Charleston, and build them into short choreographies each week.

Carers welcome to attend all classes free to accompany and support class participants. Classes are held at our studio inside Ocean Terminal centre (EH6 6JJ) - please note no classes on 12-18 Oct for October break or from 14 Dec - 3 Jan for Christmas break.

These classes run during weekday daytimes so would suit either those who are retired, or who work part-time or irregular hours. We also run Over 30s classes once a month on Sundays in Hip hop and Commercial dance, and adults of all ages are very welcome at our weekly evening and Saturday classes! Our new Seated Dance class starts from Thursday 22nd October 😊

Taught by Chloe, this gentle class is designed to be flexible: adapt the moves and choreography to your energy and mobility levels, whether that means focusing on the upper body, incorporating some leg movement, or just enjoying the music - all ages are welcome at this class.

Every Thursday, dance class from 2 - 2.30pm, followed by tea, coffee and biscuits after class. Held at our purpose-built and fully accessible dance studio inside Ocean Terminal centre.

These classes are drop-in each week - no need to commit to a term - with payments in cash or card at reception of £4 per session (accompanying carers free), including tea & biscuits

Thanks to generous 'Summer of Sport' funding, many members of the Dance House team have been teaching free blocks of dance classes to P1-7 children in Primary Schools, and associated Enhanced Support Bases, across the Drummond cluster since August ☺️🕺

, in partnership with , is continuing to provide free and low-cost sporting and physical activity opportunities, as part of the national 2026 Summer of Sport initiative. They're working with a network of partners, including us, in association with , to make these opportunities available to young people across the local area.

The 2026 Summer of Sport was launched to help remove barriers to participation and give more young people aged 3 to 26 the opportunity to be active, regardless of their background or experience. The investment has already helped thousands of young Scots get involved in sport, and the activities will continue throughout autumn and winter, and into 2027.
