Mario Biondi’s ’This Is What You Are’ 20th anniversary tour at The Queen’s Hall in Edinburgh last night!

Mario was wonderful as always, and what a band he brought with him!

On the drums, Grammy-nominated David ‘Fingers’ Haynes, who has toured and recorded with Prince, Chaka Khan and Lee Ritenour, to name just three, and on the keys, virtuoso pianist Antonio Farao’ a legend in the jazz scene, who has played with Gary Bartz, T***s Thiellemans, Lee Konitz, Benny Golson, Branford Marsalis et al and was described by no less than Herbie Hancock as a ‘great pianist’.

The crowd at St Luke’s tomorrow night, on the opening night of the Glasgow Jazz Festival, are in for a real treat..
