It is with great sadness that we've heard of the sudden passing of Tony De Meur, best known as Ronnie Golden. Tony was part of Gilded Balloon from the very early days, forming the Late'n'Live house band Ronnie and the Rex where Ronnie would compere the comedy and play between sets. He was instrumental in making Late’n’Live the show it became.

Ronnie later partnered with Barry Cryer, creating numerous brilliant shows together. They were part of the Gilded Balloon family and the Library Bar will never be the same without them. Our thoughts are with Grace, family and friends. 💖
