Delighted to present -
FLUID ON A DRUID, a joint exhibition by artists Eddie Summerton and Alan Grieve
The exhibition is part of
Sett Studios ambitious all day FLAW FOIK presentation on the 7th Oct.
Ancient+reimagined folkloric artifacts, rituals, processions+soundscapes.
A day of multi-venue Visual Art, Performance and Live Music, featuring a costumed parade from one space to the next.
"COME OF YOUR OWN FREE WILL TO THE APPOINTED PLACE"
Follow the fool.
All are invited to participate in the parade - led by the shapeshifting spoken word jester Jimmy
Mack.
All shall follow, from the bottom to the top of Leith Walk, with designated stopping points along the way. Costumes are not required, but are encouraged!
The procession will be uniquely soundtracked with original remixed music by OOR_Scintilla +
Josh Corkill.
SATURDAY 7th OCTOBER 2023 from 3pm til late.
START POINT - Sett Studios, 127 Leith Walk
END POINT - Ltd Ink Corporation, 77 Brunswick Street
TIMELINES (approximate timings for procession with stopping points)
3 til 5pm at Sett Studios. A group show by studio holders + associate artists, plus performances.
Jester Jimmy Mack will lead the parade at 5pm
sharp!
5.15 til 5.35 at Griffen Fitness, Balfour Street.
Performance by Suzi Cunningham
5.45 til 6pm at Leith Walk Police Box.
Performance by Alima Askew
6.05 til 7.20 at Settlement Projects. Visual art + Live music ft samwoodoowmas, Cod O'Donnell +

It’s cold today, it’s especially cold down at the gallery, come down and keep us warm. Open 11-4 today, tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday.
We will be having an hour long Q and A with the artists in our newly developed multimedia discussion/debate chamber (4pm till 5ish). We will be taking names for the very limited seat numbers shortly.
There’s still around 30 pints left in the keg…. so that’s gonna need scoonched.
