I discovered today through Taj Wyzgowski, that we have lost one of our former band members and much loved Scottish Musician, Bill Innes. I had lost touch with "Binner" in recent years. Through the late 80's and early to mid '90's Bill was our most regular sax player together with the Weir brothers forming a three-piece horn section in my Reggae-Ska iterations in two of my bands - Magic Dog and KoolVibration. We played regular gigs at Cottiers, The White Bear in Masham, North Yorkshire and appeared together at the Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival at The Cotton Club, in Edinburgh where this shot was taken. He was a great sax man and a wild band member at times. I will miss the inventive sound of his horn, especially his plaintive sound on "Food for Thought," a UB 40 piece we loved to perform.
