Monthly Live Jam Session at The Voodoo Rooms with some of Scotland's leading musicians playing lounge grooves from many genres. Catch Blues, Soul, Funk, Ska, Rock and Reggae, Jazz & Country. There's decent valve amps, a tight sound system & tech. Musicians play by invitation to set a good standard. Recent guests have included legendary guitarist, James Burton, Jerry Donahue, Gregg Wright, Neville

Marten, Jimmy Moon & The Moonshiners, John Bruce, Adam Clarkson of Zoot Money. Watch this site & announcement each month for dates. The sessions are arranged by Rod Kennard who plays bass with The River Devils & Blues in Trouble and Ash Gupta, Guitarist & leader of KoolVibration, Scotland's top Roots Reggae ensemble featuring Trav "Hedkandi" Panesar on sax. Entrance Free except for special guest nights.

Some of you may know that Jamie Crompton, when he was A&R Manager for Fender GB put together the Strat Pack concert at the Wembley and organised events and actions to celebrate the Stratocaster's 50th birthday. This celebrates 75 years of Telecaster and is worth watching. Enjoy. I wish I could afford some of these special edition Teles. For about four years I have been in my business shell, not really having time for the biggest love in my life after My Lady Christine.. MUSIC and my Guitar.
So When I stumbled on this piece showing the Old Ash that I know it lifted my heart. Maybe when I get past all the alligators in the swamp around my current trip in life , the Old Mahn Ash will re-merge chez Voodoo. One Love tae ye hall!
